Nestled at the base of steep due south facing downs of chalk and limestone, just inland from the west fleet at Langton Herring, and the sea
We’re passionate about producing low intervention, sustainable wine in a beautiful and unique location on the Jurassic Coast
In the summer of 2018 Simon and Karen bought the vineyard and immediately set about converting it to become regenerative, sustainable, and pesticide free
We’re committed to growing without the use of pesticides or herbicides, allowing our vines to thrive naturally
Our small-batch wines are made with minimal intervention, resulting in their truly authentic terroir
Beneath the vines the soil is made up of a layer of rich loam mixed with flint, chalk and limestone sat on truly ancient deep Kimmeridge clay that provides excellent run off and drainage
Our vineyard lies within a gentle open valley full of sea breezes, sea views
The same micro-climate enjoyed by Abbotsbury subtropical Gardens just a few miles to the west, where the valley opens out to Lyme Bay beyond
We invite you to book on to a Tour & Tasting, experience our vineyard and taste our wine – See the Tour & Taste page
You can also Stay on the vineyard in a romantic hideaway and explore the stunning surroundings of West Dorset
This is Dorset’s iconic World Heritage Jurassic coast, an Area of Oustanding Natural Beauty. See the Stay page
Originally planted in 2004 the vines are made up of Seyval Blanc, Regent and Phoenix varieties
They clearly enjoy this habitat and have consistently produced award winning wines
